Hey Lambda Fam,
As many of you already know, the National Gay Basketball Association's Women's+ Division is hosting its inaugural tournament, the West Coast Classic in West Hollywood on the weekend of March 23-24. The NGBA Women's+ Division will showcase the talents of Queer Women and our allies in pool play on Saturday from 9AM-6PM. With a Championship bracket on Sunday from 9AM-3PM. There are teams coming from cities across the country (ie NYC, Austin, Houston, Seattle) to compete. We are excited to have teams in the tournament representing our very own Lambda Basketball League and encourage you to attend the event to cheer them on and show your support!
All of the tournament games will be played at the West Hollywood Aquatics & Recreation Center. There are also social events and meet-ups planned for the tournament which the NGBA Women's+ Division will be releasing in the next few days via their Instagram account. Mark your calendars now for the Opening Party at Honeys on Friday night (March 22) at 8pm.
Are you interested in playing in the tournament and do not have a team? There currently are a couple of teams looking to add a Free Agent to their team. All skill levels are welcome.
